Blues Ducks Preview

Rematch from 10/16. The surging St. Louis Blues host the Anaheim Ducks tonight in St. Louis. The Ducks defeated the Blues 4-2 at the Honda center earlier this year. St. Louis has a new head coach and is tied with the 3rdmost points in the Western Conference (33).

The Blues are 3-1-1 in their last 5 home games versus Anaheim and have outscored them 26-15 during that span.

The power play had two goals for the first time this season on Tuesday in a win over Detroit. It marked the first time that has happened this March 30th of last season.

Evgeny Grachev was reassigned to Peoria after being activated from injured reserve.

  • together they combined for 3 goals in the previous contest

  • David Perron has given the PP a boost since his return
  1. Halak or Elliot?
  • Halak gave up all four goals in Anaheim; Elliot played well against Detroit but has struggled against the Ducks (12 goals in 3 straight losses)
